China Glaze White Hot collection

Hey guys!

Today, I am showing you some polishes from the Summer 2020 collection China Glaze released. It is an all white collection similar to the all black collection they did for Halloween last year. There are 6 polishes in the collection but I purchased four from The other two are a iridescent glitter with a sheer milky white base and one with a pearl finish. I tried my best to show the difference between each polish.

I must say before the swatches, the formulas on these can be patchy and very easy to apply a thick coat. It is especially important that you do not try to manipulate the coat you apply because you will just cause bald spots.

Sauvignon & on is a white base with red-orange shimmer. The shimmer is pretty strong but it takes about 3 coats to be fully opaque. It’s pretty easy to apply thick coats so make sure you don’t have a lot of polish on the brush before.

Off-White, on point is a milky white crelly that is opaque in 3-4 coats. If you don’t mind the amount of coats you have to apply, this is nice if you do not want a bright white.

Summer Moon is a bright white that is opaque in about 3 coats. If you are looking for a white opaque polish, this is not it.

Hey Chardonnay, Hey is a white crelly with golden shimmer. The removal of this polish may have the shimmer all over your skin so be careful how you remove this. It is not like glitter but can spread easily.

I like this collection but at the same time I feel like it is not easy to work with if you do not know what to expect. I highly recommend you read every review and see every live swatch video you can before purchasing any polishes from this collection. If you want to see how a couple of the polishes look sponged on, especially the two I didn’t purchase, check out Gingerly Polished.
